Mercer County Fair Open Static Exhibits

All exhibits must be the property and handy work of the person who enters the item(s). Previous exhibits may not be entered again.
Detailed rules are located by each division.
Entries will be accepted on:
- Thursday, July 13th from 4-8 pm
- Friday, July 14th from 9-12
Judging of entries will be Friday, July 13th at 2.
Exhibits must remain until 10:00 am on Sunday, July 14th or prize money will be withheld.
Ribbons and Premiums
1st place-$5.00
2nd place-$4.00
3rd place-$3.00
Champion- A $25.00 Best of Show will be awarded in each division.
Open and Junior Livestock Shows
Livestock Superintendent: Jeff Klein 870-2242
Pre-registration is required for all livestock. Entries will open on June 24th and close on July 12.
Entry is $35.00 for beef and $25.00 for hogs, sheep, and goats for each show. Dairy cattle is a $15.00 entry and $10.00 for dairy goats.
Payments will be online through the Showman App or by cash or debit card at the time of the show. NO CHECKS!
Each exhibitor will receive a show t-shirt.
All exhibits must be in place and weighed in by 11:00 on Friday, July 13.
Mercer County is a double-point fair for the NDJPSA.
Showmanship will be held once for each species during the weekend. Each division will be broken into heats to keep class sizes down.
Schedule:
Saturday, July 13 starting at 8:00-
Dairy cattle, swine, sheep, Boer goats, and beef. Showmanship for dairy cattle, sheep, and goats will be held after each species.
Sunday, July 14th- starting at 8:00-
Dairy goats, swine, sheep, boer goats, and beef. Showmanship for dairy goats, swine, and beef will be held after each species.
